بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
{ وَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِيمَانِكُمْ كُفَّارًا حَسَدًا مِنْ عِنْدِ أَنْفُسِهِمْ
مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ فَاعْفُوا وَاصْفَحُوا حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللَّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ
إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ }
[ البقرة 109 ]

يحذر تعالى عباده المؤمنين عن سلوك طريق الكفار من أهل الكتاب
ويعلمهم بعداوتهم لهم في الباطن والظاهر وما هم مشتملون عليه من الحسد للمؤمنين
مع علمهم بفضلهم وفضل نبيهم ويأمر عباده المؤمنين بالصفح والعفو أو الاحتمال
حتى يأتي أمر الله من النصر والفتح ويأمرهم بإقامة الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة
ويحثهم على ذلك ويرغبهم فيه .

{ Many of the people of the Scripture ( Jews and Christians )
wish that if they could turn you away as disbelievers after you
have believed, out of envy from their ownselves, even,
after the truth
( that Muhammad Peace be upon him is Allâh's Messenger )
has become manifest unto them.
But forgive and overlook, till Allâh brings His Command
Verily, Allâh is Able to do all things }

‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ :
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ :
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :

( يُوشِكُ الْأُمَمُ أَنْ تَدَاعَى عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا تَدَاعَى الْأَكَلَةُ إِلَى قَصْعَتِهَا
فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ وَمِنْ قِلَّةٍ نَحْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ
قَالَ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ كَثِيرٌ وَلَكِنَّكُمْ غُثَاءٌ كَغُثَاءِ السَّيْلِ
وَلَيَنْزَعَنَّ اللَّهُ مِنْ صُدُورِ عَدُوِّكُمْ الْمَهَابَةَ مِنْكُمْ وَلَيَقْذِفَنَّ اللَّهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ الْوَهْنَ
فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْوَهْنُ
قَالَ حُبُّ الدُّنْيَا وَكَرَاهِيَةُ الْمَوْتِ (
سنن أبي داود

( وَلَكِنَّكُمْ غُثَّاءٌ كَغُثَّاءِ السَّيْلِ )
مَا يَحْمِلُهُ السَّيْلُ مِنْ زَبَدٍ وَوَسَخٍ شَبَّهَهُمْ بِهِ لِقِلَّةِ شَجَاعَتِهِمْ وَدَنَاءَةِ قَدْرِهِمْ

( وَلَيَنْزَعَنَّ )
أَيْ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ

( الْمَهَابَةَ )
أَيِ الْخَوْفَ وَالرُّعْبَ

( It was narrated that Thawban said:
The Messenger of Allah ( peace be upon him ) said:
Soon the nations will invite to partake of you, as diners call one
another to a large dish. Someone said:
Will it be because we will be few in number on that day?
He said: ‘No, rather you will be many on that day,
but you will be like the refuse of the flood ( Scum ).
Allah will take away fear of you from the hearts of your
enemies and Allah will pelt your hearts with Wahn
( weakness ).’ Someone said: Oh Messenger of Allah,
what is Wahn?
He said: ‘Love of this worldly life and dislike of death )
[ Sunan Abu Dawud # 4297 ]
